The Buttonwood Park Zoo will create a safe, dynamic and stimulating area dedicated to Nature Play. This type of project creates opportunities and programming that will be dedicated to the overall health, well-being and development of children in the Southcoast region especially those who live in neighborhoods where safe, outdoor play is limited or non-existent.  Outdoor play increases fitness levels and builds active, healthy bodies.
